Family members of men incarcerated in Alabama prisons described harassment, abuse, extortion, and deadly conditions their loved ones have encountered at a legislative hearing Wednesday.
Kim Baker of Cullman, whose brother Brett Baker, 58, died at Bullock Correctional Facility on Nov. 15, 2025, does not believe what the death certificate says, that he died of cardiac arrest and natural causes.
