Severe weather risk increases a bit for Alabama today

The severe weather risk has expanded a bit for Alabama on Monday. Here's the severe weather outlook from the Storm Prediction Center. A Level 2 out of 5 risk has been expanded into northeast Alabama, and a Level 1 risk has been expanded to include all of the rest of north Alabama and the northern part of central Alabama.

Most of Alabama will be dealing with hotter-than-normal August temperatures on Monday. But there could be a few severe storms to watch for as well.
