Sewell joins Ocasio-Cortez to lead Democratic committee on healthcare as midterms near

An Alabama congresswoman will co-lead a congressional working group gathered to examine the cost of healthcare as Democrats seek to gain an advantage leading into the midterm elections.

U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell, D-Birmingham, was appointed by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to lead the Cost of Living Healthcare Working Group alongside Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York.
