Hoover has been named one of the best cities to live in America.

Of 250 cities across the nation, Hoover is the sixth best place to live in 2026-27, according to an annual survey by U.S. News. To make the top of the list, the city had to have good value, be a desirable place to live, have a strong job market and a high quality of life.
