Two undefeated programs collide Friday night when the Vestavia Hills Rebels travel to Warrior Stadium to face defending AHSAA Class 7A state champion Thompson. Both teams enter at 2-0, but the Warriors hold a commanding edge in recent history, winning 12 consecutive meetings since the Rebels’ last victory in 2015. Thompson leads the all-time series 18-14.
