‘Tireless advocate’: Tuscaloosa honors late councilman by naming a park and street after him

The Tuscaloosa community gathered Sept. 28 to honor city council president Kip Tyner, who died at the age of 70 on Sept. 18.

A neighborhood park and a Tuscaloosa street will be renamed to honor a late councilman.
