Troy has selected its permanent football captains for the 2026 season — quarterback Goose Crowder, offensive lineman Luke Petit, defensive end Donnie Smith and defensive tackle Ty Clemons.
Crowder is entering his third season as the Trojans’ starting quarterback. The Gardendale native was limited to eight games by injury last season, finishing with 1,327 yards and 11 touchdowns passing.
