A dire new midterm threat has emerged for the GOP as Democrats could win a Senate seat in deeply red Kansas for the first time in 94 years.

Politico is reporting that the Senate Leadership Fund, which is the Senate Republicans’ top super PAC, reserved more than $8 million in ads starting this weekend to help GOP Sen. Roger Marshall, according to tracking firm AdImpact.
