Tulane has thrown down the Mardi Gras gauntlet for its Sept. 12 game vs. South Alabama.
The Green Wave on Wednesday unveiled “King of Mardi Gras” uniforms that they will wear when they host the Jaguars in Week 2 at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans. The uniforms feature Tulane’s regular green and white colors (though a brighter shade of green than usual), with purple and gold accents and other Mardi Gras flourishes such as beads, argyle patterns, harlequins and king cakes on the jerseys, pants and helmets.
