UAB purchases portion of Southern Research campus for $15 million

UAB has bought part of Southern Research’s Southside campus for $15 million.

Southern Research retains ownership of its flagship 150,000-square-foot research building. Under the terms of the deal, UAB will acquire nine acres of the Southern Research campus, which is adjacent to UAB.
