Voters tap Madison County School chief of staff as new superintendent

Madison County School System has a new superintendent.

Republican Keith Trawick defeated Democratic challenger Dr. E. Quinn Headen, principal of Hazel Green High School. Trawick received 30,266 votes, or 52.66%, compared to Headen’s 27,109 votes, or 47.16%.
