Weather service deals with radar issues along Gulf Coast

The National Weather Service uses multiple radars across the United States, indicated by green dots. The red dots along the Gulf Coast indicate radars that are not providing data to the public. The weather service offices can see the radar data, however.

The National Weather Service on Sunday was still unable to disseminate data from five radar sites near the Gulf Coast, including two in Alabama.
