Woman charged in Helena business owner’s fatal stabbing wrote bizarre letters to his sons

A 32-year-old woman accused in the stabbing death of her 68-year-old boyfriend wrote letters to his sons while she was on the run for nearly a year.

Anastassja “Anya” Cooper, of Irondale, is charged with murder in the slaying Jeffery Holifield, who was the owner of Cahaba Woodworks in Helena.
