Woman fatally shot in Shelby County; person of interest detained on unrelated charges

An investigation is underway after a woman was found fatally shot in Shelby County.

Deputies were dispatched just after 6 a.m. Monday to Selma Street in the area of Wilton. They arrived to find the woman dead on the scene.
