Woman whose family found her dead in trash bag on side of interstate was murdered, police say

Karen Hollis, 23, was last seen on May 8, 2026, in Northport. Friends and family on May 16 found her remains in Greene County.

An Alabama woman found dead in a large black trash bag on the side of Interstate 20/59 was killed, authorities announced Tuesday.
