On Tuesday, Nov. 3, residents across the Birmingham metro will cast their ballots to determine who will represent them.
In Jefferson, three county races are contested: Sheriff, County Commission District 3 and Assistant Tax Assessor for the Bessemer Division. In Shelby, four county races are contested: Sheriff, Coroner, Property Tax Commissioner and Board of Education Place 1. Every other county office in both counties has a single, unopposed candidate.
