A Florida police officer has been accused of stealing a dead man’s identity and taking over his home for four years.
WPLG reports Lauderhill Police officer Brian Louis Sguros was arrested Tuesday on charges of fraud and falsifying official documents as a public servant. Sguros, 35, allegedly took possession of a South Florida home owned by Dennis Ionis West, who died of natural causes in 2022.
