The Audacity Release Official Music Video for Their Single “Malibu”

The Audacity Malibu video Audacity release the official music video for their single “Malibu,” out now on all streaming platforms. Fronted by Tyler Carter (Issues, ONE OK ROCK), alongside Grammy-nominated guitarist and producer Dru “Falconry” DeCaro (Miguel, mgk, Dua Lipa) and powerhouse drummer Manny Dominick (Wiz Khalifa, Gym Class Heroes), the band brings together three accomplished musicians united by a shared desire to challenge expectations and push rock into new territory.

Tyler Carter says, “In therapy, when learning how to exercise anxiety, I was often asked to go to a ‘happy place.’ I always seemed to find myself in Malibu, because of the memories and moments of tranquility I’ve experienced there with people I love. After Covid, I took some friends there who had never been, we drove through the canyon with the top down, and I introduced them to AC/DC, something so liberating about that day. I had to write a song about it, and it’s also the first collaboration we had as a band! It was just time this song saw the light of day…”

Blending raw emotion, explosive musicianship, and a fearless perspective, The Audacity explore themes ranging from personal endurance to cultural frustrations. Their debut single, “Real Talk Fake Friends,” introduced the band’s high-energy approach, followed by the confessional “>ENOUGH” and the punk-driven “More Money Morphine,” which takes aim at Big Pharma. Focus track “Matterhorn” delivers an anthemic message of perseverance, determination, and pushing through adversity.

Beyond the music, The Audacity have already opened for ONE OK ROCK at two sold-out shows in Los Angeles and Atlanta, surpassed 1.5 million streams across digital streaming platforms, and raised more than $5,000 for Musicians on Call through their self-produced Big Damn Charity Jam in Los Angeles.

With a deep appreciation for culture and connection, the band continues to build relationships with fans around the world while pushing its sound forward.
